| Class 301: Discovering My Ministry |
In this three-hour class we will focus on FIVE PERSONAL FACTORS that have combined to shape the real you your spiritual gifts, your heart passion, your abilities, your personality, and your experiences in life thus far. By identifying the specific traits you possess in each of these areas, the ministry God has designed you for will become crystal clear! At the end of the class we will invite you to sign a Ministry Covenant. The Maturity core values are: 1. "Discovering My SHAPE for Ministry" Taking a SHAPE Interview to find my primary ministry Serving faithfully under the leadership of the ministry that best expresses what God made me to be Developing my ministry to the fullest extent by diligent study and application 2. "Preparing For Ministry" Training a listening ear to the voice of the Holy Spirit Training the mind to apply the Word of God as the sword of the Spirit Faithful attendance at all church leadership training sessions 3. "Demonstrating a Servant's Heart" Committing to a small / cell group to grow in maturity Submitting to a small / cell group for accountability in life and ministry Contributing to the success of the small / cell group by faithful participation 4. "Cooperating with Other Ministries in the Whole Body of Christ" Praying for the needs of other ministries in the local church Placing the greater good of the local church over the needs of my ministry Networking my ministry with other churches in the city when appropriate so that a greater impact can be made in local community work After completing CLASS 301 you will be called for a PERSONAL SHAPE INTERVIEW an hour with a trained SHAPE Interviewer where he/she will take you through your Personal SHAPE Profile and help you discover your SHAPE for ministry and get you connected so that you can start serving the Lord! If the Encounter Weekend had begun a work in your life then this seminar will further help you in your encountering with the presence of Father God. The world in which we live is in increasing crisis. Morals and values continually decline, and the true meaning of love, intimacy and family is even more distorted. It's time to return to our roots, to the Father's heart, to the place of intimacy with our Creator, receiving his love and giving it away. Truly we can only give away that which we ourselves have received. After completing CLASS 301 you will be called for a PERSONAL SHAPE INTERVIEW an hour with a trained SHAPE Interviewer where he/she will take you through your Personal SHAPE Profile and help you discover your SHAPE for ministry and get you connected so that you can start serving the Lord!
