The Philosophy In line with our vision of “producing world Christians” there is a need to develop a curriculum that is intentionally designed to change and transform every member of the church to have a worldview that is not only biblical but in line with the end purpose of the discipleship journey. The World Christian Discipleship Process covers the four fundamental bases that each Christian is to cover, i.e., CLASS 101 – 401. The proposed curriculum is to help facilitate the change of worldview to that of the true culture of the church, which is, the biblical worldview. The biblical life and worldview holds FOUR MAJOR EVENTS in the grand narrative of His Story – creation and God, humanity and the fall, redemption, and the Second Coming of Christ. The proposed curriculum has only one distinct goal, that is, the reforming and reshaping of a proper biblical worldview on which we can then unleash a community of world class Christians. This world class Christians understands God’s global vision, serves with a closure mentality, and acts on strategic action plan for the glory of God!! The CORE of the curriculum forms the pedagogy (the science or profession of teaching) of the World Christian Equip School. There are five areas of the CORE Curriculum that we would constantly refer to as a guide in our course development and seminars. 1. Man and God – Theology (TH) 2. Man and Creation – Economics & Ecology (EC) 3. Man and Self – Psychology (PS) 4. Man and Others – Sociology (SO) 5. Man and Wisdom – Metaphysics (TE) a. Man and history b. Man and morals c. Man and knowledge The Curriculum Spiritual Formation Course The objective is to instruct the believers in the elementary principles of the Word and to facilitate, mentor and coach believers in their spiritual formation and Christian discipline. The Spiritual Formation Course is a ONE YEAR course. It is the CORE COURSES of the World Christian Equip School held on Monday night between 8.00 pm – 10.00 pm. This course runs in a tri-semester format of 9 weeks per semester. At the end of the course, after a successful completion we will have a graduation dinner and you will be presented a Certificate of Completion. Schedule: 1st semester : February - April 2nd semester : May - July 3rd semester : September - November Subjects covered: 1. TH101 – Putting On God’s Truth (Part 1) 2. PS101 – Living In The Power of God (Being a Disciple of Jesus Christ) 3. PS102 – The Fruit of the Spirit 4. PS103 – Walking with God 5. PS104 – Divine Guidance 101 / 102 6. PS105 – Inductive Bible Study Sign up TODAY for Spiritual Formation Course - Year 2010. Download the REGISTRATION FORM and hand it over at the Maturity Help Desk or Info Counter after Service on Saturdays/Sundays. LOVE THE NEW TESTAMENT / OLD TESTAMENT (LNT / LOT) This is a bible study for members who just want to have a better understanding of the 66 books of the bible. The bible teacher will be teaching through the books presenting nuggets of truths to inspire the listener. There will be no pressure on the members to fulfill anything else other than just attend the class and feed on the word of God. Therefore no certificate of completion is necessary for those attending the “Love the New/Old Testament” Class.
